Johnson Won! (Last Year)
After a six-hour, 22-minute rain delay, Dale Earnhardt Jr. emerged as the victor in the 2014 Daytona 500, snapping a 55-race winless drought.
However, when FOX Sports decided to fill some of the rain delay with footage of last year’s race, won by Jimmie Johnson, some fans were fooled by the alternate programming, even FOX News, which erroneously reported that Johnson had won. Deadspin has much more of the fiasco, which caused one fan to comment, “This year’s #DAYTONA500 is looking a lot like last year’s.”
Jason Collins Makes History
After signing a 10-day contract with the Nets, veteran center Jason Collins made history at the Staples Center last night, becoming the first openly gay player to take the court in the league’s history. Nice job by the home fans, who acknowledged the moment with some applause.
Rob Ford Is The Buffoon That Keeps on Giving
Because it would have been hard to top his women’s hockey celebration, Toronto mayor Rob Ford commemorated the men’s hockey gold (or something!) by slamming his junk against a fire hydrant. You want more Rob Ford? OK — he’s apparently an amateur DJ now, too. This is me begging Sun News or Bravo or anyone to reconsider the Rob Ford reality show Ford Nation.
Lovely Lady Of The Day

Plus she’s forever a member of the New York Giants family. Here she is on a recent shoot for GQ. Head here for more of the actress and follow her on Twitter.

Dennis Rodman’s North Korea “Mission” is Becoming a Hollywood Comedy
Fox bought the pitch titled Diplomats, to be based upon Rodman‘s bizarre, controversial trip to visit North Korea‘s dictator. If nothing else, this officially proves that Dennis Rodman’s life is stranger than fiction.
Which Top 2014 Defensive End Prospect Got Out-benched by a Punter and Ran a 4.47 40?
None other than Jadeveon Clowney, who threw the bar up a disappointing (relatively speaking) 21 reps, while Miami punter Pat O’Donnell cranked it 23 times. But then Clowney ripped off an incredible 4.47, and scouts began salivating again.
