Let’s hope we can track down the clearly non-existent culprit with great haste.

James is a cream puff, always has been. He couldn't play in the 80's and 90's with teams like Detroit, Boston, LA, etc...

Wow, you people are either completely blind or overly biased. You can CLEARLY see him getting hit twice, once on top of the head via elbow and again when the forearm comes around in the chin.

The only time this will stop is when the NBA starts fining players for such obvious playacting, and suspends repeated abusers like the Drama King.

@CubanMustGo  No, it will take more than that...because that rule is already in place.  However, it's an almost toothless rule because the fines are minimal (warning for the first offense, $5K for the 2nd offense, $10K for the 3rd, etc...) culminating in a possible suspension for the 6th and greater offensives.  Here's the problem: 1) This penalty isn't called enough (especially on star players), 2) $5K - $30K is CHUMP CHANGE to almost any player in the NBA, and 3) I don't think they've suspended a single person for this yet.

Bottom line: They need a penalty that is actually a detriment to these players before they'll stop doing it.

I would fine players a full game check for the 2nd offense and a suspension starting at the 3rd (1 game suspension for 3rd offense, 2 games for 4th offense, etc...).

@dei1c3 @CubanMustGo  show the replay on the Jumbotron, make the call that it was an obvious flop, then make the player go to their locker room to get his wallet and bring out $5K in cash to pay the fine in front of the fans and television audience.  Guys paying up in public, and then showing it on SportsCenter 20x a day, might be a detriment!
