Alabama fan Jake Johnson saw this picture on Facebook and posted it on Twitter. This picture is worth a thousand words, and all one thousand of those words are “NO.”

This picture is abhorrent.  Responsible gun owners DO NOT do this.  I know because I am one.  I don't know what the picture-taker was trying to get across in the picture, but I'm not getting his point.

Another killer in the making....SMH... kind of ironic though, that baby was one bad bean burrito or a timely fall down the stairs from not being in this world... and if this is how they are raising him... maybe one of the the former should have happened... another school shooter in the making...

Image the same pictures with a brown baby... if your views have changed.... it proved how bad you have been brain washed.... sorry for you !!!

So what exactly is the problem?

If all the firearms are empty...

Are you crazy , who cares if the guns are empty or loaded, its what they represent ... you are missing the big picture...there is no such thing as responsible and gun owning.. those things are the root of alot of evil, does not matter how carefull you are....  majority of shootings are to ones self or someone close to you... and if you need a gun to put a hole in yourself or someone you knew for years there are other issues at work there and maybe a gun should not be in your possession... So the picture is not abhorrent as you put it , nothing wrong with the picture ...the ideas of gun in general is the real issue...

image in leaders had to actually work out thier issues and they never had disposable lives that were dumb enough to pick up arms in the first place and fight for something they know nothing about... how different would the world be.. one thing i know it wouldnt be any worse...

@friendly--neighborhood--scrawlerThat's a really judgmental and ignorant statement.  Correlating gun owners to mass murders. Taking the millions of American's who have guns, (270 million!) against the relatively low modern mass shootings (232 since 2006 defined as 4 or more victims according to the FBI) your statement comparing gun-owners to mass murders is incredibly offensive and non-factual in any stretch of the definition.  I don't own a gun and I have no problem with you if you feel guns are pointless and dangerous, but as a military veteran trained extensively with firearms, I'm going to say that their is a responsible way to treat and view weapons.  Just because you don't understand them doesn't mean you should fear and condemn them.  Complacency is what causes those fatal accidents that you mentioned that are caused by gun owners.  Just like the fact that 52% of car accidents happen within a few miles of home.  Complacency and lack of guard distracts attention from where it should be.

You see what I did there?  5 minutes googling simple keywords and I made you out to be nothing but a common unimaginative uninformed biased hate-filled poster.  All by not once insulting you personally.  Maybe just your pride.

@stevemjordan84   If you can't see the problem, then you're clearly not part of the solution.

@DEJ1948@stevemjordan84   There is no "solution."  If you don't like guns then stay away from them.  The rest of us will keep our 2nd amendment rights and keep our guns.  I probably wouldn't have done that pic because I don't like people knowing what kind of weapons I own.

if you can't figure out how to protect your home without a gun you were not very creative you're not very smart...and then once you look at the faCt that statistically you are more likely to harm yourself or a family member then home intruder. . Well. ...if you own a gun you knowingly endanger your family not protect them

@CharlotteVictoria@LonnieTruman@DEJ1948What I was trying to say was...if you do every thing in your power to stay away from guns, what do you do to protect yourself from invaders who do have the guns?

Guns have their place.  It's our responsibility to learn how to use them safely and keep them away from our children.

@LonnieTruman@DEJ1948@stevemjordan84Stay away from ME and MY FAMILY with YOUR GUNS.  We already do everything in our power to stay away from guns.  Whoever took this photo is exploiting an innocent baby in a sickening manner.  The baby's parents are not fit to raise an infant and they are brazenly displaying ignorance about gun ownership.  Were they drunk when they took this photo?  Stoned?  How can we ever be sure they know how to carefully handle guns.  This picture shows a tragedy waiting to happen.

SO is it your God given right then to kill innocent people? Second amendment was written when the US still living in the wild wild west era. Your stupid remark about staying away if we don't like guns is missing the point. We don't like guns killing innocent people. Period!

What does this have to do with, ""A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - what is that you ask, its the 2nd amendment, and no where does it say to dress your baby up in copious amounts of weaponry. It says "WELL REGULATED MILITIA." If you consider dressing a baby up in guns "well regulated," you are the problem, period!!!!!!
