Alabama Kicker Gets Handwritten Note from George W. Bush after Blowing Iron Bowl
Alabama kicker Cade Foster kind of blew the Iron Bowl for Alabama, going 0-3 on field goal attempts in their 34-28 loss to Auburn. Foster’s misses caused coach Nick Saban to go for it on fourth down late and use back-up kicker Adam Griffith on the final FG attempt that Auburn would return for the game-winning touchdown.
A week after the game, Foster tweeted he had the support of his teammates.
My teammates are 100% behind me and I can't love them enough for that. Also thanks for the supportive messages from Fam, Friends, and Fans..—

And now it seems he’s gotten more support in the form of a handwritten letter from the 43rd President of the United States (pictured above). It seems to read:
Dear Cade (#43), Life has its setbacks.
I know! However, you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best.
Too bad he didn’t send Foster an original painting too.
