Alabama Fan Intentionally Doesn’t Tip Auburn-Supporting Waiter

News, Twitter

This week’s edition of idiotic tipping condemnation comes from the sports world, where a bitter Alabama fan refused to leave an actual tip on a $20.25 check for a server whom the customer claims was “Proud of Auburn,” which pulled off an incredible comeback over top-ranked Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Saturday. Instead of what should have been a roughly $3 to $4 dollar tip for the server, who coincidentally is named Forrest (you may recall that Gump played football at Alabama), the customer allegedly wrote this:

Don’t talk about being proud of Auburn to an Alabama Fan! There’s your tip.

Granted, it’s not like anyone’s ever faked a stiffed tip before. Let’s just take this as an implicit admission that yelling “Roll Tide!” never adds value to anything.

I would have hoped we had all learned a lesson about the photographed receipts showing no tips or rude comments after the last one proved that the waitress was lying.

you just can't teach stupid like that...good to see this moron has their priorities straight...spending their lives worshipping a team they could never make at a school they could never afford

Notice that the 'Bama fan is using a prepaid credit card?  Apparently doesn't have the financial wherewithal to qualify for a real credit card.   That 'Bama education is really paying off.

@WestcoastMD Hey, try this Westcoast:  http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/9725630/man-stabbed-death-att-park-san-francisco.  Or this:  http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/06/giants-fan-returns-home-2-years-after-brutal-beating/.  Now let's compare the evidence here:  An Alabama fan doesn't tip an Auburn fan and your panties are all up in a bunch, but California fans are beating and killing each other...  Which would I rather have?  I think any rational human being would pick the Alabama fan, but nobody ever accused Californians of being rational human beings...  Oh I'm sorry, did I just categorize an entire state based on the actions of a few?  Well, I guess it works both ways now doesn't it?

@WestcoastMD

Way to stereotype an entire region, very classy.

Take a look here, http://stupidthingspeopledoonline.com/tag/california/ this silly woman from California got online and started calling Obama the n-word and began calling for his assassination. Do I make assumptions about California and people on the westcoast based upon her words and actions? No, that would be ridiculous.

@KevinConte Keep in mind how many hoax receipts have been posted online as of late Kevin.  Now I live in Alabama, so I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be true, seeing as how ridiculous some of these fans are.  However, I take these receipt stories with a grain of salt because it's only a matter of time before this clown is on Good Morning America talking about their story, and then we discover that he made the whole thing up...  Kind of like that woman that claimed a family didn't tip her because of her lifestyle...
