Going to summer camp as a teen, I thought my Leatherman knife was just about the coolest thing ever. It whittled s’more sticks and chopped up vegetables with the utmost efficiency, and it even had a few random appendages such as a bottle opener and a corkscrew. As it turned out, my pocket knife was useless compared to the multi-multi-multi-function tool shown above that was manufactured around 1880 in Germany.

Neatorama has the gory details:

The knife has 100 functions, including every types of blades imaginable. It has a serrated blade, dagger blades, shears and scissors, an auger, a corkscrew, saws, a lancet, button hook, cigar cutter, pens and pencils, mirror, and straight razor. You can even use this tool to tune a piano, as it has a piano tuner built in. Hungry? It’s got a butter knife so you can butter your toast.

And, in the event that you found yourself embroiled in a dispute with a bitter rival over whose pocket knife reigned supreme, you could use the five-shot .22-caliber revolver as your sleek weapon in the ensuing duel.
