Jerry Seinfeld Returns to the Mets Broadcast Booth Tonight

Media, TV

For the second time ever, Jerry Seinfeld will be a part of the SNY broadcast during tonight’s Giants-Mets game. The comedian previously appeared alongside Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez on June 23, 2010. This time, however, Seinfeld will join the full crew, including Ron Darling on the main broadcast and Chris Carlin and Bob Ojeda for the pre-game show.

Last time, Seinfeld ribbed Hernandez pretty good for falling asleep during an earlier broadcast. Maybe this year they’ll discuss giant cutouts of both their heads showing up in the Citi Field stands.

I saw a mets game when i was a kid with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal doing the play by play.  It was awesome.... williams pretended he was a player from Russia and would explain the Russian version of the rules to billy on each play.
