Tennis U.S. Open Men’s Final: Rafael Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic, 5:00p.m. (CBS)
It’s hard to fathom that just over 2 months ago, Rafael Nadal was getting whipped by the 135th-ranked player in the world at Wimbledon. He has been downright dominant in his road to the Final, but neither he or Djokovic had to face Andy Murray along the way. Rafa’s bounce-back would make a hell of a story, but something tells me Novak couldn’t care less about that.

Rockies vs. Giants, 10:15p.m.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins, 6:55p.m. (ESPN & ESPN Deportes)
I’d be interested in seeing inside RGIII’s head as he looks across the field at his counterpart on the Eagles. Is Michael Vick someone Robert should want to emulate, or a cautionary tale? I mean that as it pertains to the football field, of course, as there are certain parts of Vick’s off-the-field past that Griffin would clearly like to avoid. (I’m talking about that year he ruined Madden, obviously.)
Houston Texans vs. San Diego Chargers, 10:15p.m. (ESPN & ESPN Deportes)

Canelo Alvarez Fights, 6:30p.m. (CBS Sports)
If you’re a only a casual boxing fan, you might not be too familiar with the other half of the upcoming fight of the year. Solve that problem by taking in an abridged version of three of Canelo’s fights before he takes on Floyd Mayweather on Saturday.
