Everyone Is So Sensitive
I’ll do my best to sum up the events of last night’s Braves-Nationals skirmish. Bryce Harper hit a bomb off of Julio Teheran, and Harper, in the opinion of the Braves, took too long to round the bases. The next time Harper was up, Teheran hit him with a pitch. This led to the benches clearing even though no punches were thrown. After the game, Harper had a great response when asked if he was surprised to get hit, saying, “I hit the ball pretty far off him, so no, not really.” The bad feelings from all this then carried over to each team’s Twitter account as they traded childish barbs. And then Chipper Jones, who had plenty to say about Harper’s actions during the game, quit Twitter.
No more twitter for me. Said I'd do it for one year and the time is up. Too much hate and too many trolls. Much love to Braves country! Xo—
