The New York Daily News recently obtained some of the NFL’s plans for “Super Bowl Boulevard,” a “football-themed extravaganza” that will be set up between 34th and 44th streets when Super Bowl XLVIII arrives in near New York on February 2nd. The “eight-lane, 180-foot long, 58-foot-high toboggan run [that is] able to handle up to 1,000 riders an hour” should be particularly effective at ensuring that native New Yorkers stay even further away from Times Square than they already do.

Native NYers don't stay away from Times Square. Where did you get that from? In especially nice weather, the place is packed with people, their picnics, and their lawn chairs.
