Mike Mayock Never Ever Wants to Hear the Name Manti Te’o Ever Again

TV, Video

An otherwise hunky-dory opening evening for the NFL Network’s Draft crew grew a little tense when, with the Texans on the clock for the 27th pick, Rich Eisen brought up the two high profile players who had not yet been picked: Manti Te’o and Geno Smith.

“Alright guys, there’s six picks left in the first round,” Eisen began. “And I know we keep mentioning … some folks at home might think we’re returning to it a little bit too much.”

“Some folks at the desk might think that,” Mayock jumped in, speaking on behalf of the entire television audience.

If that’s how he feels, Mayock may want to take a sick day tomorrow.

These immature sports "analysts" make me sick. These schmucks who (most of them) have never played, yet sit up there in their high chairs, with their "high horses" hitched up out back, putting down players, poking fun of/at players, is infuriating. Watching these idiots on ESPN, and at the draft, other stations, etc. is like a bunch of 13 year olds at a sleepover talking about the thought of sex; CLUELESS. I would love to see these idiots duct taped to a blocking dummy, especially this MAYCOCK schmuck, and have players (especially T'eo) go practice their blocking skills.

I'm just glad the vikes didn't take Manti when they traded up to the 29 spot!

Of all the "Draft Guru's" out there , Mike  Mayock mock drafts were the closest to being right. None of the 'Guru's" had EJ Manual going as the top QB selected but Mike had Manuel as his #2 rated QB. As for Mante Te'o, pro scouts watched the NCG where Te'o looked awful.

@BillCunhs Mike Mayock played in the NFL as well as in Division 1, and he's a real student of the game. Eisen is a host, not paid to analyze. Both are highly intelligent, while you, sir, are a moron.

@HarshRealities Maycock was not the closest. He missed 22 of the 32 picks in the first round. I wrote it down. I am sure scouts watched more than the Championship game scouting Te'o. Many players and teams in the history of sport, even the best of the best, have had good games, and bad games!

@HarshRealities and when he's wrong, he tells you he was wrong and shows you what he was wrong about. Mayock is a gem.
