Philadelphia’s District Attorney Offers To Investigate Andrew Bynum For Fraud
You know it's gotten bad when the city's DA needs to step in

If Philadelphia fans didn’t already hate Andrew Bynum, they likely do now.
The All-Star center, who hasn’t played a minute since arriving with the Sixers in a blockbuster trade last summer, strongly hinted Friday that he won’t be playing at all this season. ”I feel like it’s my life,” Bynum said. “I’m 25 and I don’t want to have no cartilage.”
That prompted Seth Williams, Philadelphia’s district attorney, to offer a course of action on Twitter: a grand jury investigation.
@JmitchInquirer how much is he getting paid? Do I need to launch a grand jury investigation?—

@SheridanScribe @jmitchinquirer it could be fraud, theft of services or robbery. Fans and ticket buyers need to know. 10-9-8-76ers!—

For a player making an eight-figure salary to sit on the bench — who’s made more headlines for his coiffure than for his play — maybe that’s the proper course of action.
